I had an advice column once...

It had been a dream of mine for years, and I did well; but just recently I was able to move up to a position as an Opinion Columnist with one of my local papers - the Peterborough Examiner. To date, I think my biggest personal goal is to try and find balance and symmetry in my everyday activities. Often times, I keep myself so busy with work and school that I forget I need to take care of myself with the things that make me happy... The things that make me.. Me!Professionally, I'm really unsure what job I will take on in the future - but I'm quite content with where I am right now. And I think that's important - staying in touch and happy with where you are in the moment, because truthfully, all you have is, this moment.I know I want to continue to pursue my career in disability activism and motivational speaking, but I also have a deep desire to keep writing anything that my brain entertains. I want to continue to find time for my art, and connecting with other people. That is a big reason why I created Chatability in addition to wanting to connect others - I wanted to keep myself connected with my community, because there are so many other people out there like me who are students with disabilities... I just forget. I'm trying to remember I am not alone. And neither are you!
