Okay I get it, this is supposed to be motivational and rain is considered depressing, considering that you end up with the choice of remaining in the confines of your shelter or going outside and getting cold and wet.
Perhaps we’ve been looking at this all wrong. Water is life, isn’t it? April showers bring May flowers they always say. Or October showers I guess.
As I sit here typing this mess at 8:30 in the morning of the first day of October, the subtle thumping of the rain outside my window and the soft light of the overcast sky is lulling me to a feeling of peace. It’s quite magical really.
And once the rain fades, the sun’s rays will peek out of the clouds and the Earth will have experienced a rebirth. You know what I’m talking about, the sweet smell of dampness radiating off the rejuvenated plant life, the crystal drops of water on the leaves, the insects and animals come out from their hiding places. Although to be frank, I can hear the birds chirping away right now, a little bit of rain doesn’t stop nature from doing it’s thing. As we all know, it’s the fuel.
Honestly it‘s something beautiful and amazing.
Have a wonderful Monday!
